Patience

i put this question
to my fullest self:
"why does it seem that some
to whom i send my love
do not respond lovingly
or respond at all?"
the answer came:
"they do... but you are looking
thru a darkened glass....
setting your sights
on what you think their love
should look like....
your son's silence is his way...
your daughter's self containment
is her protective device...
they fear your transmitting
an open expression of love....
love sends them hiding
for fear
love of this much openness
would swallow them....
do not be impatient
all love sent must be received
it is preserved in duality
until the time
it can be accepted without fear...
and time you know is but an illusion...
in eternity it is only Now
and your love is Now received
and returned...this must be so....
patience!!!!
